AfroPunk London
Hey guys!
It has been a while, hope you are all doing great.
I attended London's first AfroPunk on the 24th September 2016, and it was amazing. I got to represent my motherland and culture on this event, along with other sisters and brothers. I have never been able to dress and go "all out" on an event like this before. So my look was inspired by a west African warrior type with the touch of the peace flower head band. For clothing I though a dashiki would be the perfect touch, and it was! However for the actual event I did change my look ...slightly. I though it would be fun to do a get ready with me video for a tribal privilege look.
Why don't you head over to my Youtube channel and check it out.
If you wish to know more about the event go over and check it out www.afropunk.com
For next week I will be uploading the actual event I attended in Alexandra Palace, London. Guys I must say it has been such an honour and privilege to be a part of such an positive event.
AfroPunk stands for equality, respect, love and unity.
So I wish you the reader a lovely evening/morning or afternoon.

GRWM HAUL
So I decided to try out a haul today, which to my surprise was actually a lot of fun. Last summer I would spend hours upon hours online looking for an outfit for a special occasion. Thanks to the modern ways of the internet we now have YouTube. There is not a lock of hauls on YouTube, I guarantee you that. You might ask yourself, it it worth watching? I always felt like going into a shop and trying cloths on the old school way, or maybe even online shopping when I`m feeling brave. However I`ve found that watching hauls are so much more fun and if the person is similar build to you, it is much easier to click a few buttons and add that outfit to your online shopping basket. I use to spend hours wondering how an outfit would end up looking on me, which is why I am not too keen on online shopping. Even going though a mall can be daunting sometimes. The passing of mass crowds, children running up and down the shops and dare I say it people who are always in a hurry *not paying attention to you and knocking you over*, yes those people can be off-putting.
So to sum up, I have created this video to help my fellow ladies who wonder what to wear for a concert. This is a very short and fun video, and I do hope you enjoy it.
Leave me a comment if you have any questions about what you have seen in this video today!

Make Up Tutorial Made Easy.
If you're anything like me then watching different make-up tutorials can be daunting.
Do you ever feel like no matter how many tutorials you watch, you can't master it?
Well join the club, neither can I!
So what did I do about it? Well I decided to try and simplify it my way.
My make-up in the video is a look I would use for a girls night out, or a date (been a while for me lol).
Now I'm not claming to be the next #MakeupShayla or #Amrezy, this is a simple option for simple people like me.
I will link my video at the bottom of this blog, have a look and let me know what you think, and how would you do it?
If you like any of my items displayed on the vlog, let me know and I'll send you the link and full description of the product.
I may even have the UK price tag £.
While I have your attention!
The 10th September 2016 will be an epic date you lovely ladies want to mark on your calanders.

Urban Food Fest in Shoreditch
Here we go!
Today we are taking a trip down to Shoreditch to explore the Urban Food Fest, yay!
Everyone who knows me, knows that I am a foodie, after being a chocoholic.
Urban Food Fest are holding a food fest in Shoreditch at a parking lot which has been cleverly disguised. We have everything to please everyone, even the pickiest person on earth. We have food from most countries e.g Greece, Taiwan, Turkey, USA, Somalian, Argentinian and more. Don't make me start on the dessert and the cocktails! Follow the link below for a glimpse of what we experienced.
I must say that my plan on eating one product from every stall failed miserably...hahahah.
After the third food stall I was getting fuller and fuller, obviously we had a drink in between. C'mon!
Once we completed, well nearly completed our challenge we headed over to Liverpool Street to have 1,2,3,4,5...yes 5 cocktails followed by a tequila shot (burp*). What a fun day this was, if my liver could only stand this everyday. Once we managed to find our feet we continued down to South London to support our friend, who just released a gospel album. Maybe not the best decision after all we ate and drank!?
However after some spiritual guidance we completed the night by meeting up with our dearest friends in Stratford Rooftop Gardens. Yes, I know what you are thinking, no we didn't plan this pragmatically.

Surprise Trip To Berlin!
I must admit this was a horrible experience at first, lying to my husband for a week. I had to convince my husband Lucky that we were going on a road trip to Portsmouth from London, where we had to collect a rental car from Stanstead Airport. Anyone that knows me, knows that I'm a terrible liar. Although unpleasant it was a excellent trip, and he enjoyed himself so much. Sometimes in relationships especially marriage, you have to come up with things to keep the love at a high. I'm not saying one must buy a ticket to fly abroad, no, just do fun things TOGETHER.
If you are anything like me you are a person who love to have their partner surprise you and spoil you. But I've learnt that one cannot wait for the other person to step up, sometimes you have to take charge if something is to ever happen. I love to get flowers, chocolate, and yes a massage, but if my partner don't arrange this for me I let them him know. Communication is very important and is key for a relationship to stay alive. In the worst case scenario book yourself a spa day from www.wowcher.com or www.groupon.com with your bestie. Your partner will soon become jealous and try to win back your attention, that's when you strike for your "compensation".
Head over to my YouTube channel: Missy Senghore to see the vlog on this surprise!
